So You Think God Isn’t Conscious?

Elohim is the Principle by which things come about.
Nature is those things coming about.
The Principle never changes.
Nature is constantly changing.

It is the difference between the Creator and the Created. But this is one of those issues largely misunderstood and misrepresented by “the followers”.

But the question is, “Is Elohim a conscious being?”

This natural question raises 6 concerns;
  1. The definition of life
  2. The definition of intelligence
  3. The definition of intention
  4. The definition of consciousness
  5. Common misunderstandings of the above
  6. The war against religion
A “life form” is an entity that pursues its own maintenance of existence through intelligent means. We have a hard time drawing a hard line between merely a mechanism and a life. Life is a mechanism, but it is one with superior skills.

Intelligence is the property of resolving a path to a goal/intention (problem solving). This property can range from nearly zero (such as a rock) to very high, far greater that of humans. But trying to measure it with a 3 digit number is ludicrous because there are many types of intelligence with vastly differing skills.

Intention is the result/goal sought by intelligence. Intention is often associated with consciousness, but such an association is not a requirement.

Consciousness is awareness, which is the property of sensing surroundings sufficiently to identify consistencies and movements.

The warriors against religion desire and lust to claim that there can be nothing about Reality that would resemble consciousness or intelligence regardless of any facts to the contrary.

The truth is that you are surrounded by what we call “Reality” and that Reality fits the above definitions even better than you do. It maintains itself beyond any conceivable threat by the most intelligent means possible, much higher than any human could ever approach. That which remains in harmony cannot perish and thus is the result that is represented by the future. Reality pursues the intent of causing perfect balance and harmony (not peace) from chaos and nothing could be more aware of all that is going on and responding with absolute 100% accuracy in compensating for every tiny thing you do.

Nothing can ever be more alive, intelligent, and conscious than Reality/Truth itself and you are nestled in its palm. Attend to It/Him and It/He will take care of you in ways you could never even imagine.

This understanding is at the very foundation of the Hebrew spawned religions and unlike the Abramic form, requires no faith that God is a conscious being. I could go into extreme detail as to why what I just said is precisely true, but I would prefer discussion if you care to challenge it…?
 
No Atheistic retort?? I’m impressed.

So we can put Atheism to rest. 👍

Well, I don’t know why that would be an “amazing feat of intellectual prowess”, but if you are going to wait for other people to ask the questions, you might have a long wait ahead of you.

Why can’t you just write it out now? Why do i have to wait for other people to start asking Questions?

You said in different words that you can prove your theory to an even greater degree then what you have written. I want to see it.🙂
 
Because then I would merely be preaching and unavoidably casting pearls before the swine regardless of who else might actually be listening.

I think the reason you haven’t been challenged by any atheists is because we’re all aware of how pompous and self-righteous you are (your use of “pearls before the swine” being an outstanding illustration of your condescension and narcissism), how you consistently fail to validate any of your claims then blame your audience, and how you have generally started to make less and less sense over the last few weeks.

Your previous post regarding the power of the mind has been largely ignored by the atheists on this forum, probably for the same reasons. If you’re a joke, people won’t take you seriously.

Of course, I speak only for myself. But I’ve had enough discourse with you to realise there’s no point having discourse with you. Apropos of this, I’m not posting to engage in debate, just to inform you of the probable reason for the emptiness of your thread.

What makes you think I was talking to you and the Atheists (whom you were not talking for)?

I also have to wonder why you put yourself and those Atheists into the category of being the “swine” of which I spoke. But if you believe it, who am I to argue.

You’re presuming I did - you, who made such a big thing about how bad presumption it is to presume!! I don’t put myself, my fellow atheists, or anybody else into that category. But you clearly did. You stated it in this thread, and your attitude to everyone else in this entire forum makes it clear that you think you are intellectually and spiritually superior.

But as I said before, I’m not here to enter into discussion, just to point out why your threads are getting lonely these days.

On the contrary, expecting a reply from the Atheists is not the same as intending to talk to them or even wanting to. I have told you before that the Atheists are of little concern to me. They just happen to be around a lot and thus I expect of them as you so often do. You make accusations and nasty derogatory comments based on your skewed perception and emotional presumption. And as I have told you personally before, any communication with you is not really worth the effort due to your emotional presumptions and thus not really hearing what I say, but rather what you make out of what I or anyone says. I could easily be syrupy sweet to quieten your ego, but I have other things that are of a higher priority. It is YOUR ego and “narcissism” that makes you presume that my intentions have anything to do with you.

I have to disagree.

We are ALWAYS called upon to help the blind to see and the lame to walk. 😉

We have no other function.

If you are not a part of the Enthalpy, you are a part of the Entropy. 😃
