sister amy,my sources are also very authentic.why can’t you understand that since my childhood they are teaching me about islam.but now they(my family)know i am atheist.anyway except quran&hadith,my father has lots of book of maududi&many scholars i can’t say all name.but i just started reading Quran&hadith again after 6 years i told you and why i am reading islamic scriptures i also told you.thank you

Maudoodi even though respected and famous leader was not successful for many reasons. Number one is that he revolved the whole religion of Islam around the pillar of politics. He was teaching the Muslims, the lessons of Jihad i.e. holy war against non-Muslims. That was not right. There are other proofs that he admired the Russian Socialist system i.e. taking hold of the seat of power by all means.

His writings were same as those of the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwaan) of Egypt. Too much politics in the name of religion was not right. His main aim was to establish a Muslim Government wherein should be the laws of Shariah. But the approach was not peaceful (Islamic).

So morning_star,you have had an exposure to Islam of a different nature, which was not full of love and Peace for all mankind. I am sorry, I could not describe the person properly. His method was like Missolinis ( I cannot recall the right english word for that).

There are still many people who admire Maudoodi sahib.

oh sister amy i never told an important thing that my father is also a converted muslim(he was hindu)like you.he converted when he was young.so in my childhood he taught me islam with pressure.He is well educated man both academic&islamic side.So i know a converted muslim can be very abusive(mental abuse)even with his son.He turned my childhood into hell with his islamic abuse.but i told you before that i can’t share my personal story with you.

Thanks for telling all that. Your father was harsh with you. That was bad. But you should always pray to God for him. He converted in young age but unfortunately he may got involved with the wrong people, the Jihadi type Muslims.

If your father is well educated ten he will find it better to be peaceful, complete peace and no hatred for any one. He should know that he is not God. Even the Prophet Muhammad was not allowed to take control of people by force. He was only to deliver the message in peace and then leave the matter to Allah. The prophet was not to compel any one to come to Islam.

The real message is in the Quran. But it needs some hadith to understand it and needs a teacher too. Please remember that when Lord Jesus came, at that time, the Jews had all their books with them. They were reading the books day and night. But did they understand the books?? No. The message of Jesus was also with peace.

God had sent a teacher (Jesus) for the Jews. He taught the correct meaning of the previous scripture. Yet the Jews could not see right from wrong. Do you see the problem of the human nature?
