Your view of justification by faith and works

I have never liked this construction. I think that Scripture says it better:

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is of any avail, but faith working through love.

This more closely aligns with James’ expression of saving faith being a faith that works. It is more the quality of the saving faith, not "works’.
