Is our culpability for sin dependent on our personality and temperament? I know people raised in the same household but are wildly different. Perhaps I just cannot understand personality. I used to think some people are drama queens but some people for whatever reason are naturally more intense, emotional and sensitive. That is them being authentic. Some people can think very clearly during stressful situations. I want to argue why can’t we all make ourselves even tempered, responsible, thick-skinned. Some people take longer to adapt while others are quick. I used to think it was laziness. This very shy quiet girl is such a capital b when she is drunk. Is that the real her? Why can’t people hold their liquor. I know people who have forgiven their child abusers while some will forever hold resentment. Why can’t we all be ideal? Each of us is flawed.
