Keep your ears and eyes open for news from Rome today and tomorrow. Something very big is happening. Waiting for the word as to what.

What is it in relationship to? Do you have a source or information?

Let’s all say a prayer that God’s hand is at work and that his will be done.

St. Francis, pray for us!

Traditionally when a new pope is elected Curia cardinals all end their position and the new pope chooses whomever he wants. From day one of his pontificate Pope Francis made it clear that they will retain their position until such time when he could look into the issues and make an informed decision as to who is going to head which congregations. So while this may sound like big news, if it is indeed what is happening, then it was expected.

Well, no, traditionally a new pope simply reconfirms the people holding the various positions, perhaps replacing a select few, and then only replacing the rest when their “traditional” tenures, coming from the previous pontificate, were up.

Yes, Pope Francis has done something different, but it is not like this was expected. Even though he had only reconfirmed provisionally, this is a rather dramatic lead-up to what might come, almost 16th century in flavor. “SUMMON THE CARDINALS!” “Yes, Holiness!”

I’m guessing the new hats will be shown in public for the first time. Should be very pretty.

I hope what Michael Voris claims is true, because I’m really considering leaving the Church for sedevacantistism. But then again, that’s another story for a rainy day.

God Bless,

Sorry OP for going off thread topic, but… why in the world are you considering sedevacantism BVM?

And as soon as you leave the church for sedevancantism, you are outside the church that Christ established. You are Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail.

I’ll think about that, keep me in your prayers as I will keep you in mine. I learned lots from Sedevacantists and they convicned me enough to believe that Rome lost the faith as Michael Voris even mentioned in the video that a Bishop said the faith in Rome was lost. Hopefully I will find answers, but so far I am convinced.

God Bless,
BVMFatima

People, we have one source posted and it’s to Michael Voris. Can we get some other sources? L’Osservatore Romano? EWTN? Catholic News Agency? Otherwise this thread began with a claim that “something big is happening in Rome,” without any sources, and will stay that way. 😉

Maybe the word is still getting out and they are researching, or maybe Michael came to a false conclusion? We will see, pray about it.

So far the only source is Voris, Fr. Z hasn’t said anything either and he’s at the same conference. Rorate Coeli hasn’t said anyting either, well I guess we’ll have to wait.

@BVM…I understand your concerns with the church. I had many issues when I had a reversion to the faith and ended up leaving the latin church for the eastern catholic churches. What it came down to for me was the promise that Jesus would always be with his church until the end. Feel free to PM me with any questions/concerns you have. I’m sure I had many of the same ones you did.
