Please pray for my 21 year old son, Jordan, who is battling his fifth bout of leukaemia and really needs the chemotherapy he is just starting to work so that he can have a bone marrow transplant. Family and friends are praying to Blessed Mary Mikillop (potentially our first Australian Saint) to intercede. Will be extremely grateful for all prayers.

As cancer has claimed two of my aunts, one to leukemia, this post strikes home. I just said prayers for all who are afflicted with cancer, but I gladly offer the following, as well.

All powerful God of mercy, grace and healing, hear our fervent prayers on behalf of Jordan, who bears the name of the river in which Your Blessed Son sanctified baptism for our sake. As our prayers rise to You, we beg that You grant Your Divine healing to him, and that You strengthen him, his family and loved ones in their time of trial. Your Blessed Son, our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus, willingly suffered and died for us. May Jordan offer his own suffering up to Your Son as a prayer which will gain him many graces and Heavenly healing. We ask this through Christ Jesus, Your beloved Son. Amen.

Thank you po18guy! What a beautiful prayer, I will certainly add that one to my own. Thank you!

O Saint Pererine, you who have been called
“The Wonder - Worker” because of the numerous

We humbly as k of you to ask God for the
cure of Jordan from Leukemia. Aided by your
intercession, we shall praise God for His
gread goodness and mercy.
AMEN

Dear Genevieve…I am South Australian and will keep you in prayer with Blessed Mary and for miraculous healingof his leukaemia…have you registered you son at her shrine for a miracle? …if God Wills your son is healed, prayers for him need to be registered at the shrine for it be acknowledged as a miracle at the intercession of Blessed Mary - as I understand things. If you access this site and ask re the Sisters praying for your son, I am sure you will be directed to the correct procedure. I did have a quick look but was unable to find the actual link if one exists to ask prayers for a miracle.

Thank you so much to everyone for your prayers, initial oral chemotherapy has brought down his white cell count already, but he has a tough few months ahead. I will ask God to bless each one of you.
To Barb, thankyou for that advice I will certainly try to find the internet site for Blessed Mary Mikillop and register.
Thankyou once again to all, your prayers mean so much.
Genevieve

Lord, may every cell in Jordan’s body be alive with the light, life and love of You. Amen. I am praying for Jordan.

If you can’t find anything on the internet, Genevieve (although I think there should be a site somewhere), if you ring up a Convent of the St. Joseph Sisters they will let you know what the procedure for registering is…
Keeping Jordan in prayer for the tough few months ahead - may his spirits remain high and his sufferings minimal. Thank you for your prayers…Barb
