How might one:
Define “a soul”?
Prove its existence?
Can it be done biblically?

Within scholastic philosophy the soul is simply defined as the substantial form of the human body. That is the soul is what makes it a human body rather than some other form. How might one:

One can prove the existence of an immaterial soul by demonstrating the many activities that the mind engages in that are impossible through purely material means. i.e. intentional states, qualia, understanding of universals, rationality etc.Prove its existence?
Hebrews 4:12For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Genesis 2:7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Yes. Scripture reads at times the spirit (human) or Spirit (God). Remember in Genesis and John, God breathes into Adam and then the 12 Apostles. How might one:

Please explain. Where in a human body is there evidence for non-physical control?Prove their existence:
Technology. If you thought atheistic abiogenesis was unlikely, you haven’t seen the numbers for how improbable modern technology would be if our bodies were controlled entirely by physical processes.
In the simple fact that we can think, that we can reason, that we have built technology, that we emote, that we remember, etc. Please explain. Where in a human body is there evidence for non-physical control?

i can [almost] see the clarity of that; BUT where’s the charity
One cannot prove the existence of the soul apart from one’s religious worldview. Do souls exist? I hope and have faith they do; otherwise, we’re all in trouble. How might one:

The proof of it’s existence is the human’s ability to ask for the proof of the soul’s existence. How might one:
