Pride is a powerful sin. It is probably the root of all sin and liberal ‘catholics’ who place more importance on their liberal political ideology than on the teachings of Jesus fall prey to it.

The same could be said, to a lesser extent, of all of us in Asian countries who have swallowed the contraceptive agenda hook, line and sinker. :mad:
 
America is done. The liberal agenda will keep gaining ground and being implemented and those of us who try to live good catholic lives, while struggling I assure you, will someday possibly spend our golden years in a jail cell.

Our politicians HATE God and crave money, power and fame and they have provided an ignorant populace with enough trinkets to totally get away with it. It’s over. Its’ done. It’s not coming back.

Agreed. I’ve tried to explain this to people I know but they can’t understand that the America they love exists only in their minds. We’ve turned against God and gotten away with it for so long that people seem to think it can go on like this forever.
 
Undeniably abortion is infanticide; a grave sin. But, infanticide is not limited to abortion.

If we are not as fervent in our efforts to see that impoverished women are provided adequate pre-natal care to decrease infant mortality, or to ensure children have ready access to medical care, proper nutrition, are kept safe, and any child dies as a direct or indirect result of these problems we are NOT Pro-Life, but rather we are simply Pro-Birth.

So, we need not only to work for the end to abortion, but to all types of infanticide.

Think Pro-Life, and not just Pro-Birth!

Yes they invent teachings of Jesus such as obamacare, ‘gun control’, ‘climate change’, etc. to take focus off the real scourge of abortion. And if you don’t buy into their agenda then of course you are accused of not really being pro life.

Archbishop Chaput calls that kind of ideology out here…

I don’t endorse secession or a confederacy and I sincerely hope you didn’t take that out of my post? WOW!
 
Kudos to his eminence (and my fellow countryman) Cardinal Napier.

He has a long history of supporting pro-life and pro-family causes. H even testified before our Parliament against a bill to legalize same sex “marriage” (although sadly he was ignored). He also risked his life in opposing the Apartheid regime back in the day.

Cardinal Napier has also spoken of the “cultural imperialism” of certain western governments in making the receipt of foreign aid contingent on the legalization of abortion and same sex “marriage”, as well as support for massive spending on contraception and “population control”. In my opinion targeting third world countries for “population control” smacks of racism to me.
 
I agree, he is right, but we must remember, ALL those who are involved with this evil, will eventually have to answer for it, and I mean EVERYONE who is involved, no matter how direct or indirectly they were involved, I think we can be sure, God is keeping track.

I would welcome a jail cell if it meant remaining true to my faith and beliefs, and really, I should expect it eventually, look at most people in the past that have devoted their life to God, usually they are hated by secular powers that be, thus God did warn, “they will hate you as they hated me”.
 
Well of course it is. Planned Parenthood was founded to limit the number of black and brown people born in this country …
