Catholic culture has done a review on the Southern Cross. The following is an extract of a message sent on a facebook group: informing of their review of the Southern cross, often sold in parishes:

"Catholic Culture and the “Southern Cross”: problems sited with local newspaper

What one does with this information is their choice. Catholic Culture is an initiative of Trinity Communications; which often appears on EWTN documents, because their initiative : Catholic Resource Network merged with the international Television and Radio Network: to form the current EWTN website. Catholic Culture is also associated with Catholic World News, the first online Catholic news service.

For their ratings, Catholic culture is a trusted site, giving accurate reviews of sites, based on fidelity as well as normal uses.

Recently, Catholic Culture reviewed the site of the southern facebook.com/l.php?u=http://www.scross.co.za.

The international reviewing site listed the southern cross site as a danger site, based on fidelity issues, in editorials which appear in the weekly newspaper. If one clicks on their “examples” they give these, which are also on the site. By danger, they mean to say that they consider large sections the site not in line with the magisterium of the church. These sections should appear in the actual newspaper.

Are both controlled by myself, only an admin in this group, speaking only, in my personal capacity, as compared those where I am webmaster and editor of those sites, separate from keeping membership of this group informed on issues, in as neutral as possible a manner.

The actual review is linked to in the articles, along with screen shots:
