Eh, I don’t see the problem with secession. Heck, we did it back in '76. If California wants to leave I won’t complain.
If they did that then your no longer the United States of America. Should the Country be split into blue and red Countries at every election? where Trump is president of the most part of the Country (Red states) and Clinton is president of the rest (Blue states)? If so then that’s not democratic, democracy is where majority rule and everyone gets a say, not where everyone goes their separate ways based on the vote if it doesn’t suit them, that defeats the purpose of democracy altogether.Eh, I don’t see the problem with secession. That’s true, but neither can a society that promotes abortion, destroys the family and puts adult pleasure ahead of the needs of children. It was Abraham Lincoln who rightly said that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
True, hoping that can be turned back though, but respecting democracy, we do not decide to break away and form our own Country inside the United States or Australia because the vote didn’t suit us in these areas, as that is undemocratic. That’s true, but neither can a society that promotes abortion, destroys the family and puts adult pleasure ahead of the needs of children.
That’s what I feel like sometimes too, wish them good luck and on their way, they made their bed, they can lay in it.Ideally not. I guess maybe we disagree here, but I wouldn’t mind seeing California take a temporary leave of absence. There’s an independence movement there largely driven by rage over Trump winning.
I think people would learn some lessons very quick if that happened.
I agree, but more borders is not always better when it comes to a Country like the United States, which has achieved it’s strength precisely because they are United, if they start breaking off, how strong do you think America will be?My thoughts are always with the unborn, and with the international push by global elites in the West especially in the EU and the UN to destroy the family, more borders just make their job harder. And a lot of these people don’t want to work that hard, they just want the big-time benefits.
We don’t want to ‘stop-up’ the swamp, we want to drain it, that was the election promise. The more we can stop-up the drain, the better it may be.
Jesus said that first. It’s been one of His more popular statements over the centuries. It was Abraham Lincoln who rightly said that a house divided against itself cannot stand
Yup.Jesus said that first.
