I’m living in Poland in a small city near Cracow, it is the city mostly known by John Paul II and Saint
Faustyna Kowalska. Once Jesus said to Saint Faustyna:

> ‘I bear a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My Will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming.’ ”

In my country people believe that the the prophecy is fulfilling. I truly believe in God and my faith tells me that the time of the Lord’s coming is close. What do you think, do we live in the end days?

St. Faustina’s prayer says,
Let the omnipotence of Your mercy shield us from the darts of our salvation’s enemies,
so that we may with confidence, as Your children,
await Your final coming,
that day known to You alone.
Since this is known to God alone, I don’t have a clue and am not going to speculate.

that is from the economist, a staunchly pro west(france, britton, german, USA) perspective. Poland is more religious and is going a different direction than a some of the other EU countries.

Do you live in Poland? My interest is to hear from someone who is actually on the ground over there.

nope, nor have I ever visited. Have only done some reading about it and I was making a comment about the article you posted.

Actually, you were commenting on the source of the article I posted using an ad hominem argument. Your article doesn’t even address the issues it raises - especially with respect to the undermining of an independent judiciary by the current regime and the protests it sparked.

ad hominem argument
Well, I didn’t call it a name, I said the source has an agenda. Not the same thing you know.

In any case Poland is not exactly going to get a lot of good press in any english language press, similar to Russia, but somewhat for different reasons.

edit; scratch that, thought ad homienen was only concerning character. either way don’t attempt to sound smart by mentioning a logical errant, when any academic worth their salt knows to have multiple sources and not use those who are not grounded in science.

Love Poland. Been there several years ago. Visited St Faustinas place of worship and the convent she was in.

I am smart, but that’s besides the point.

I was actually looking for a primary source (i.e., the OP who claimed to live in Poland) to comment on a secondary source of information (i.e., the article I cited). That’s called gathering multiple sources.

Anyway, it doesn’t seem as if the OP is back online or able to respond to my question.
