So… I’ll just leave this here… admins you can move this to another section if it doesn’t belong…

I spoke in tongues todays. I allowed the Spirit to come upon me, stregthen my faith and allow me to prove to myself that God is always with me. :heaven:

I forced the syllables out, slowly at first, being careful to not think about what to say before I did. The vocalizations were broken, slow – syllable by syllable as the Spirit spoke sounds through me.

God didn’t grab my tongue at use me as a puppet, I was working physically, as the Spirit fed me Heavenly dialogue through the Angelic Language. ❤️

I feel blessed to experience this and I wanted to share this good news with all you kind people. :grouphug:

My parents are slowly coming back to Catholicism and I can’t think of a simple way to explain this Angelic Language. I will continue to practice to speak a little faster and use this to speak directly to God and praise Him. I fear ridicule or disbelief or unacceptance from my parents, even though they love me. Irrational fears…

I am going to speak to Fr. Buckley about this and gain some insight about this new and precious gift.

God bless. :amen:

Rejoicing with you.
I would bind Satan and evil spirits before beginning my special prayer time w God, the Trinity. I would, then, offer my vocal apparati to Jesus and just think of my love for Him and start humming and the words would come. I Corinthians 13:10 I think contain words of explanation about tongues and love. It is in Corinthians I know. There should be a person or yourself who will interpret the tongue but when you are alone, it is your love dialogue w Jesus.
I, also, use it in serious prayer where English has no words enough to explain the pain or joy. My heavenly language is the only one that would work then.
Practically, if I needed Swahili in Africa, or German in Germany, my faith should take my gift where it is needed. Haven’t needed it in those circumstances.
In Christs Love,

Do you believe I will speak more fluidly and less broken the more I practice?

The more you pray even in English, it becomes more fluid. I don’t see it as practicing. You begin to pray and it enfolds you. You notice this in particular, if you are heart broken or happy and it is extreme you start praying and your tongue rolls out your heavenly language. Practice makes perfect. When you first bring Jesus into your heart and the Holy Spirit fills you up to an ecstasy level.
St. John of the Cross in his book THE DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL, refers to following his lover through doors and up stairs. I knew he meant Jesus and it made me feel uncomfortable. But, then God showed me that St. John wrote in french and to use the form of love in a french expression would need passion in the word. Jesus is the Passionate Lover of our soul. The first time, we felt that quiver w our spouses. The hours we wanted to spend w our spouses. That is the same love Jesus (God) wants from us. He’s our best friend. As He says in the first commandment,“There shall be no other God’s before Me.”
He is a jealous God.
Continue to love God and enjoy your journey through life w Him
In Christs’ love
