“Sure tell sign” we are dealing with a Kardecist !!!
That same sentence you quoted from Luce7:
I have one angel who serves as my bridge for channelling and psychic work but he is an exception because he never leaves.
also alerted me. Everything else Luce said (interesting name) sounded like it could be angels - however the demons and the devil are great imitators of the works of God, so, sounding like God’s angels does not just mean God’s angels.

I do know of and have read of people that angels interact with regularly, which is of course uncommon, but they are always people who were not seeking it. In most (or all?) cases i am thinking of, they were innocent children in abusive situations who were alone in the world. There was one adult who had these manifestations when she was a child - starting when her parents would fight violently (tried to kill each other) and she would go to her room and an angel would play board games with her. She also had trips to Heaven where there were other children and angels and animals to play with - she rode a giraffe. So, these angels were not informing her of the secrets of the other world, and were not acting as “spirit guides” - they came as comfort, to a little beloved innocent child of God, who was quite alone in a dangerous world.

But its quite different to have a person engaged in “channeling and psychic work” who is seeking this, and engaged in it. Those I know of who experienced angels are also marked with deep respect and humility, and an almost embarrassment that this is happening to them, especially when as adults, they know this does not happen to most people. They would not be quick to drop their special unique experiences into conversation/forum of strangers that would draw attention to them, and invite curious “tell me more” questions.

(The game/giraffe angel story came to my ears under quite different circumstances).

Also, we do not hear of Jesus himself having a “Spirit Guide” who was always with Him, and never leaves. Jesus was always going off away from people to be alone in silence to pray to God - just like we must do. The times we are told that Angels made apparitions to Him - in the desert, at Gethsemane - were special, unique, high-need circumstances - not everyday occurrences.

Let me clarify. When I say psychic work i mean they comfort and guide me and hep me work through life situations in a constructive way. They also teach me about life. MY life. Noone elses. Then I try to embody what they teach in order to bring more love into the world. I avoid using this gift to interfere in anyones life. I don’t do readings, I don’t take money. I don’t seek it. They come to me. I can’t hep being able to see. I just woke up one day like this, and that’s that. I just try to use it responsibly and try to make sure the beings I’m around are from God.

It happens, and sometimes I share it with other people. Usually I don’t share it with those around me because, yes, it’s unusual and I don’t expect anyone to believe it. It can make them uncomfortable.

I don’t think it’s wrong to tell people it happens to you. It might bring someone comfort to know angels are active in the world. That doesn’t make me one way or another, it just means I care about bringing more love into the world.

Who says I don’t seek God too? It’s darn handy to be able to hear angels though, since they are experts on God.

Re Mass, my angelic guide kneels in the presence of the eucharist, or any other direct presence of God and if Jesus appears at Mass as I often see him do, he kneels then too. My guide stands beside me at Mass and celebrates it with me. At first I found his reverence for God and for Jesus (especially Jesus) very odd, but I’ve come to accept that this is just how he feels. He is more devout in his spirituality than I am! In fact it was his guidance that bought me into a catholic church to begin with.

Anyway, this isn’t about me and I only mentioned it to help the OP.

So this did not come from seeking it, like reading the The Secret [which is very bad], or some like thing?

Do you think you have some particular need, a reason you would be given this? Like what I have seen - poor children, with no one in the world to relate to them?

you say you “grew a faith and spirituality of my own through contact with angels and God”, and the song, “I did it my way” came to me. Jesus was not alone, He had his Holy Family, then he had His Apostles… and He,God’s own Son, sent Him to save us, and to found a Church, and He gave it His Holy Spirit, and said ti would be with us until the end end of time.

So we need the Church. Not just “between me and God.” The Sacraments, of the Church, are God’s ordinary Means of imparting His Extraordinary graces. We need His graces to live in His will. How can you live in God’s will day to day without those Graces??

And please pardon my skepticism - the demons are hard at work these days - but so are the angels. Some of the words you used raise red flags with me, but maybe you have a different intention with the words.

I have seen The Secret documentary LOL, but I’ve also seen documentaries about people evolving from apes and I don’t entirely believe those either. I try to be open minded. Personally i think using the secret without asking god first is not a good idea, because I can buy that we can create but I think it’s best to use it with the intention to only do his will, or you would open up a HUGE bag of angry cats for yourself. That’s just my perception, if I find a better one I’ll change it.

I’d say…there might be many reasons. But they are very personal and I feel like I’m hijacking this thread when I only offered the OP my perspective LOL.

I think at the basis of why they talk to me, is that w share a common goal. I care deeply about bringing people back to spiritual, emotional and psychological wholeness I believe this lack of wohleness is the root cause of most of todays problems. This wholeness is what they have been slowly teaching me and I think they’re hoping I will pass it on to others by example eventually. It’s a sort of healing, I suppose. They probably see that desire to help others in me and think…we could use this to bring people home. I don’t blame them. There’s a lot of darkness in the world.

I think they also wanted people to know they’re truly here, from OUTSIDE of religion as well as inside it. That’s why I tell people about them.

As for the sacraments, well…our priest told me that the sacraments aren’t the only way to grace, that God gives grace as he sees fit and the sacraments are tools we can use to ask for it. So clearly there is a way to live in god’s grace without them…though having them (I’m starting to think) might be preferable.

I think the closer to God you get the better off you will be. 🙂

As for red flags, well…yes I’m not surprised. The only way I could find to talk about it was by using spiritualist terms, i couldn’t find any other faith or spirituality with clearly defined language about angels.

Put it this way; what they do with me is wholly loving. They can dive deeply into this world to teach profound, even physical lessons but those lessons always result in growth and positive learning. When I say they teach me, I mean they walk in full of light, their very presence is healing, and they happily dive deep into my fear and darkness with me (we all have it) and help me to understand it, release it, and move closer to God.

Instead of running from my “evil” or my darkness, and naturally I have it, I’m only human, they are utterly unafraid to challenge it, and every thing they challenge (gently and lovingly, like a careful surgeon) turns to love and yields fruits in physical life. They’ve taught me a great deal, and lifted a lot of my fears and blocks so I can be a better person for others. More empathic, kinder, more understanding, etc, than I was before.

This is why jumped into this thread in the first place. I felt like the OP and others wondering should know what they can do. It means that God is active in all our lives whether we go to church or not. 🙂

I like your reply Luce and I am getting less skeptical of you. You said:
… I care deeply about bringing people back to spiritual, emotional and psychological wholeness I believe this lack of wohleness is the root cause of most of todays problems. …
Luce, i am with you 100% on that and hope we can talk more about that in another thread, maybe a new thread on the topic. Jesus himself has audibly spoken to me of wholeness. That is another story! But its a theme for me, too, and very much on my heart. I work in public schools, a system I think is not best for children, and getting worse - like, Common Core is causing stress for everyone, teachers and students alike, and I think the students suffer the most. So much is wrong with the world and causing lack of wholeness.

Your concern is God’s concern, too.
I think they also wanted people to know they’re truly here, from OUTSIDE of religion as well as inside it.
Makes sense.
As for the sacraments, well…our priest told me that the sacraments aren’t the only way to grace, that God gives grace as he sees fit and the sacraments are tools we can use to ask for it. Its what I said, too - Sacraments are God’s ordinary way… And yes, its preferable. : ) It is definitely better to be inside, with all those heaps and heaps of spiritual riches. : )

I’m guessing… you saw something. ☺️ so then, what did you see what did he/they say?

Interesting testimony and life experience.it must make people nervous.

Yes, I do believe @Luce7 is also becoming Catholic due to the apparitions, so it does seem less and less “bad”, but of course it’s always a good thing to be careful.
