Update: I found a priest that I trust that I will be working with for at least a little while. It is not the most ideal situation, but at least it is a start and something for now.

Please keep an open mind. Sometimes what doesn’t look like a good fit at first might turn out to be exactly what you need. That was the case for me with my current SD, despite the multiple serious misgivings I had when we began.
