Spiritual, Emotional,and Physical mess---need prayer

You are definitely in my prayers tonight. Hang in there—these times of despair are temporary and God’s loving care and forgiveness are eternal and always available. Pray often to keep yourself close to Him, even if you don’t feel like you are.
 
UPDATE::: i should be ashamed. I did fail tonight. I cut myself…i really shouldnt have!!! It just took such a small thing to set me off 😦 and then i did it pretty badly. I slept like 3 hours last night too. So im gonna try to sleep better tonight and maybe naps tomorrow. 🙂 so now i am starting over again!! And i will stop eventually…hopefully soon. I think I now see just how dependent i am on other for support…thats why yesterday was better (the call i got). So i just have to try to get away from lettinf that control me. Well. I am severely sleepy now (can barely type). So urgh just keep praying for me!! Specifically for my spiritual life!! Thank you all for being so nice and posting these prayers on here! 🙂 i appreciate that
 
O Holy Patroness of those in need, St. Rita, because thy pleadings before thy Divine Lord are almost irresistible, and because thou hast been lavish in the granting of favors, thou hast been called the Advocate of the Hopeless and even of the Impossible. Please know God is with you always. It is hard that sometimes you are doing well then the next day you are not. But know that through prayer and constant trust in the Lord will help you through all of this.

UPDATE::: Well I’ve been actually ok the past couple of days now. Still probably not going to Confession though. I’m so scared to go. I’ve went almost 10 times and I’m still terrified. Even if I go to sleep at night knowing I have Confession the next day it ruins my sleep. But I know I seriously need to go. 😦 But I do feel better and have a good urge in me to go to Confession and haven’t been as depressed lately. I cut yesterday but not a lot because it was an inconvenient time…so it will be tempting tonight but I’m gonna watch Under The Roman Sky on EWTNA 🙂 that looks like a fabulous movie. But my skin is actually healing up now (itching-that’s how I know and it looks better) (sorry it that’s TMI) also can ya’ll pray for my good friend too?? Thanks!

Hi Maegan, I am glad you are doing better. There is no reason to be scared about confession. When you talk to the priest, remember that Jesus is right there too. He loves you so much. It makes him very happy to hear how sorry you are for the things you have done. Maybe you can tell one of your RCIA instructors how scared you are feeling and ask her to meet you there to wait in the line with you. Just a thought. I will look for the thread about your friend. Thank you 🙂 i have not made a thread for her , but good idea! 😃 and i am usually the only one in my whole parish to go to Confession on saturday nights. And thats my only time i can go. So im kinda alone. 😦 that makes me extremely nervous and i am so scrupulous that my Confessions take about 15minutes and a few times more. And that puts so much pressure on me that i dont go. 😦

OK. I am sorry you are scared. Can your Mom or sister come sit with you so you are not alone? You can also pray for help from Mother Mary. When you go there ask her to hold your hand and imagine her there sitting with you and then walking in to the confessional and standing beside you as you confess. You can make a list of the sins and just read through it so it will not take so long. There is no need to give a lot of details or scenarios. Jesus just wants to give you the peace of forgiveness more than anything. Tell Father of your fears and what is going on so the Lord can guide you through him.

I LOVE THAT ADVICE! one time i got nervous for something and i imagined Mary with me and i felt better. Its happened a few times. I never thought of doing that in Confession though. I will deff. do that! And i love Mother Mary. I started praying the Rosary over a year ago and have wwpre the Miraculous Medal for almost a year! 😃 thank you!
