Apparently you are failing to see my point, If you remove your churches papal authority and the doctrines brought about by said papal authority. You have essentially created what people nowadays call protestant. So truly the onus is on you to prove papal authority or just blindly believe it.

You know, he’s not entirely wrong.
It wasn’t until I was confronted by Presbyterians as a teenager who told me Pope John Paul II was satan and that my Church was pagan that I began to really investigate and discover the validity of my Church. Perhaps I would be a lukewarm Catholic today if not for their comments.
Being on these forums and interacting with Protestants has also given me the opportunity to study His Church more deeply. I have learned so much about His beautiful Church from the Catholic answers given in response to Protestant questions on these forums.

Unless you are Orthodox, I don’t think we should entertain any comments about papal authority. If papal authority is not from God, then you have even less legitimacy than you thought.
