This is quite accurate. We are currently fighting anti-Christian and New World Order forces on these issues. The LGBT agenda destroys families. This includes the sin of crossdressing. Crossdressing hurts many people including children and spouses. It is from Satan. Same-sex marriage sets up a counterfeit union. It is not valid in the eyes of God. It is aggressively promoted by secular governments though.

When, where and how has God disciplined us specifically?
Well, he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha for failing to repent of their sins.

He sent prophets to the Israel and Judah warning them they would be exiled if they did not give up their sins. Israel was deported to Assyria. Judah to Babylon.

God punished David’s sin with Bathsheba with the death of their first-born son.

Protestantism is the result of the sins of many of our church leaders.

Wars are the result of sin. Evil causes wars.

I think we ought to be very careful and look for God in all that is happening around us. God gives us signs, we ought to be vigilant. Being vigilant is watching out for the good of yourself and others. It is not a blame game.

Venereal diseases are the result of not using sex in the way God intended.

Innocent people get hurt by the sins of others.

I have had many awful things happen to me in my life. I use them to turn to God. I am reminded that God is in charge, not me. My job is to do God’s will and trust that he has my best interests in mind, even if to my puny little mind, some things don’t seem to make sense.

God has an awesomely wonderful plant for each of us. 🙂

So true. I have known people who were betrayed by this sin. It is as devastating as adultery.

Wow, lots of misinformation and naivety on this thread. Crossdressing is not from Satan. Corporal klinger anyone? Is a Scotsmans kilt from Satan? It is a skirt and cross dressing. A women’s tuxedo perhaps? Perhaps only if it’s Hillary’s. Definitely Satan

They’re just clothes my friend. Even my metallica old jump in the fire shirt. It’s a shirt.

Since no one can predict the future, there’s zero evidence, zero that anyone could predict how God would “punish the world.” This is simply fear mongering and again justification for natural disasters and terrorist acts.
I realize you do not believe it, but God saw fit to warn Noah of what was going to happen, and this was a HUGE punishment, killing off the entire population except for his immediate family.

If God warned Noah of this, why would he not warn someone in our times, of something coming in the future if people did not change their ways?

Also, just look at the state of the world, how far we have gotten away from the truth and Gods laws, actually I would be more shocked if God DID NOT reveal some type of dire warning to someone about our current times!

A Scotsman wearing a kilt is not cross dressing. Cross dressing in the context of this thread is about sexual titillation. Not a part of God’s plan.

And I have known families hurt by this.

Sure, if she did what she was told with the information, Im assuming she followed directions as they were given to her, and then the responsibility would fall on whoevers duty it is to reveal this to the public at large.

For many years the past Popes have determined the times were not right to reveal the information, so whatever made them feel it was right to let it out when they did, is anyones guess. Personally though I do not believe the ‘big secret’ was just about an attempted assassination though, if that was accurate, the times would have been right long before they actually did, but thats just my opinion.

In my opinion, it probably detailed how God would punish the world if they continued on the same path, it was likely pretty severe, so I can understand why they would be hesitant to release such a thing, public panic would be a HUGE problem for everyone.
Even though it was made public, it’s still a private revelation. Public revelation ended with the death of St. John. We are under no obligation to believe in Fatima so why would God use something private to warn the whole world?

I’m not sure where I stand with Fatima but it’s not really that important to me. I don’t think God will reveal when the end of the world will be. It’s not information we need.

It has a lot to do with whether or not you trust the Church. If you do trust the Church, then when it approves of a private revelation, it is also saying the revelation is worthy of belief. Jesus established the Church, and if the Church something is worthy of belief, then it is something we should not outright ignore. We do not have to believe the revelation, but we must understand the Church does or it would not approve it.

The Church refers to those revelations as private, yet within the approved revelations is a call to make them known to the public.

I also do not think God will reveal the exact time of the end of the world–yet that does not mean He will not provide plenty of warnings to prepare.

Yes, but our understanding of revelation continues to unfold. Hence the various dogmas and encyclicals.

I want to prevent innocent people from being victimized by it. That is why I am in a peaceful crusade against it.

  • Fatima is an approved private revelation; it is not public revelation, but the Church strongly encourage us to consider it.
  • “Approved” means whatever aspects of the revelation were made known and reviewed by the Magisterium as of 1930. Assuming this letter was not reviewed then, it would not be part of the “approved private revelation”. That does not mean it is untrue, or should be ignored, just that it is not part of the “approved private revelation”.
It is a letter by someone who was not part of the Magisterium, but contains insights into the contemporary situation that members of the Magisterium, and many others, take seriously. The weight of the letter’s insights would be because a cardinal or bishop regard it, if they find it applicable to the present day.

How can it be a battle when its God who is ‘allowing’ Satan and his minions to continually have all kinds of influence on our world? Why would you give your enemy any kind of advantage, especially with your prized creation (mankind)?

I would agree the times are definitely against traditional marriage/ family, but all this goes on, yet God does not send any kind of warning or sign…(or better yet, a warning or sign that mankind would RECOGNIZE as a warning/ sign and not try to attribute it to something else entirely, or question whether it was a warning/ sign at all)?

I tend to think if God sends a warning/sign, people JUST KNOW what it is and where it coming from, in the OT it was this way at least.
Just wait and be prepared the Warning is coming…

Whether one relates it to Fatima or to Sister Lucia or not, it certainly seems just from the direction of current events, that marriage and the family is shaping up to be the penultimate battle. Marriage and family have been under secular attack for some time now.

Battle? Really? This is indeed absolute fear mongering. Gay marriage does not in any shape or form impede or try to stop or disrupt “regular straight marriage.” Allowing women to vote did not stop men from voting.

The Fatima warning gives us the chance pray and ask forgiveness for our sins and change the way we live.

I hope this website can explain to you why marriage is thought to be under attack, and why a punishment is believed to be coming because of it. lepantoinstitute.org/faith-and-life/fatima-noah-and-same-sex-marriage/

I saw you were agnostic, so I did not think the website would offend you.

SS “marriage” does attempt to redefine what marriage is. Forcing people to recognize and validate SS unions as marriage is an attack on religious freedom.

You are trying to tell us that what has been true for thousands of years is no longer true.

People thought the Earth was the center of the universe for thousands of years.

You’re trying to equate an empirically verifiable question of science with a question of ethics. This is an obvious category error.

I’ll demonstrate this with one simple question:

Can you show me that your definition of marriage is empirically verifiable through the scientific method, while showing that other definitions are not scientifically verifiable?

The obvious answer is no. So trying to equate the question of the definition of marriage with actual science (heliocentricism, genetics, etc) is a fallacious argument.

The question of the definition of marriage is a question of either 1)ethics/philosophy/natural law or 2) emotions. The classical definition is rooted in philosophy and reason, while the liberal definition is rooted in emotions and appeals to empathy.
