Usually this type of comment is used in the same way Protestants take statements of Catholics and use them to attack the Catholic Church.
Understood correctly the place of a woman is a place of dignity and they should enjoy being women.
In doing so women can drive, there is no problem with that. But then looking at the respect that SSPX encourages for women they would probably discourage women trying to prove that they are more by feeling like they need to compete against men, by somehow proving they are better.
This is done commonly in todays society, just watch any sitcom. This might be where they get the women driving thing from, as if SSPX wants to oppress women.
In the same way with dresses, dresses give dignity to women. Not all pants are bad and ones designed for women are just fine, but many fashions focus your eyes on marketing the woman, which just makes her an object.
Is this wrong to make yourself an object of lust?
I would always encourage men and women to dress respectfully and live chaste lives. This will get a lot of people to make fun of you as this doesn’t fit in with society these days, but what is more important.
Style or fidelity to God.
These are opposed since style these days is almost never reflective of a chaste lifestyle.

I am not SSPX but it is easy to spot common barbs that people put into comments of groups they don’t like and these are the type you commonly hear on the web, or at parishes.
