SSPX Mass question

What I said was that the whole Mass, the very act of conducting Mass at an SSPX chapel, is an act of disobedience. I do not know what acts you speak of, but I doubt they add up to the entire Mass. But no, I would have no one reject a Catholic Mass offered with the authority of the Church in favor of this group until they are regularized. I would have no one base their choice of Mass on their feelings.
You call it the way you see it and so will I. Ecclesia Dei (and Canon Law for that matter) has said that I may attend an SSPX (or even an Orthodox Mass). That’s good enough for me.
A Mass conducted with respect and reverence to God is preferable in my book to some kind of hootnanny Mass and yes, when I leave church I like to feel like I have been to a Catholic Mass.
The best choice of course would be a diocesan Mass offered with respect, dignity, and in compliance with the Church law and custom. The very fact that such Masses are not found in so many places constitutes gross disobedience as I see it.

What is a hootnanny Mass?

Not to mention the gross disobedience in violating Canon 249 which requires seminarians to learn Latin.

quite a lengthy article, and some legalese, BUT it also seems to say that attending an SSPX mass is not schismatic unless one feels that the SSPX is the only true Church

Our Holy Father is praying hard for their return and we should as well

they have not rejected the preamble per se, but say as currently constructed it cannot be accepted without clarifications - or some equally confusing comment - without the texts themselves we must trust the Holy Spirit to guide both sides

since we are only speculating on what the true issues are, we can only watch and pray that they do fully come home

What is a hootnanny Mass?
Kind of like Justice Potter Stewart’s obscenity test, “I know it when I see it.”

Some indications of a hootnanny Mass occurring often in my parish:

Loud talking and laughter throughout the church in the ten or so minutes before Mass.
Secular pop-slop music like you might hear in a dance hall. Very rarely, if ever any hymn in the Catholic tradition, although a traditionally Protestant Hymn (such as A Mighty Fortress) might be sung as the recessional every few weeks. Total absence of Gregorian Chant or any Latin.
Holding Hands Ritual prominently featured. Often the Human Chain Holding Hands Ritual, which is sometimes accompanied by a bit of hostility toward those who don’t participate, especially those who break the chain.
“Eucharistic Minister” Grip and Grin Ritual conducted at the altar during or just after the Agnus Dei.

A few one time only events include:
Here Comes Peter Cottontail played as folks were leaving church Easter Sunday.
A hula dancer performing in the sanctuary during the Offertory.
