CM is slowly building up a cult of personality in my opinion. No one said abuse hasn’t occured in the SSPX. Even the SSPX didn’t deny it. And CM has accused an innocent priest in one instance. That’s enough to make me question anything they say.

Police reports, indictments, and court rulings, and prison sentences against the sexual predators in this CM report isn’t fact enough to prove CM is simply reporting ‘facts’ to many on CAF users. Doesn’t surprise me. Those claiming CM is ‘harming’ the Church are the very ones we all need to beware of.

I am not denying that these incidents have more than likely happened. The whole Church is experiencing a sex abuse crisis. The devil is going to attack everywhere he can in the Church. I just feel the same as CM said one bishop told them: I agree with what they are doing, I just don’t agree with how they are doing it.

There was a time I would have defended CM also but I believe they jumped the shark when they started asking Pope Francis to resign. Also, their anger got to be too much. There are other reasons also.

By far most Catholics have never heard of either Church Militant or the SSPX. The number of non-Catholics who have is microscopic. Non-Catholics are too wrapped up in their own petty disputes to give a hoot about this tempest in a teacup.

Sadly true. The video I saw on CM about SSPX problems was pretty damaging.

I think it is simply in their broken nature to attack anything and anyone not in total agreement with their particular worldview. But fear not. They have no influence on neither the magisterium nor the vast, vast majority of catholics. And when it comes to non-catholics, only people who have left the catholic world or for any other reason have particular insight therein even know about their existence.
