Why is today in most churches just a memorial and not a feastday when St Clare is one of the most famous saints?
Well, my first thought is “define most famous.” And just for comparison, who are some other “famous” Saints that do rank as a feast? I believe the majority of them rank as Memorials or Optional Memorials. Why is today in most churches just a memorial and not a feastday when St Clare is one of the most famous saints?
