ROME, APRIL 4, 2010 (Zenit.org).- Early on Holy Saturday morning, April 3, 2010, Mr. Pietro Molla, husband of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, died in his family home in Mesero, near Milan in Italy, surrounded by his daughter Gianna Emanuela and his other children, Pierluigi and Laura.

What a beautiful and blessed day to leave this earth!

My eyes filled with tears as I read the story from Zenit.

What a reunion it must have been for Pietro to embrace his saintly wife after such a long period apart, and to hold again their little daughter Mariolina! And to be welcomed by our Venerable Papa John Paul II!

I didn’t know that St. Gianna’s Capuchin brother has a Cause-interesting!
