The public is certainly engaged in the discussion, with thousands of emails sent to the governor urging him to sign or to veto the bill. An attempt to override of the veto is planned to take place in two months time.

I note as well it is yet *another *case of the Democrats opposing our Faith…

I am not sure a case can be made for that. The emails received by the governor, which were obtained by the AP under a Freedom of Information filing, were about 2:1 urging him to veto the bill. On the other hand, a large number of those opposed to the bill appeared to be form letters

Yes. Missourit has had a popular vote on Obama…err…Affordable Care Act mandate, and overwhelmingly voted against the insurance mandate, 669,847 to 272,723 (71%)

I imagine the same would be true for the HHS requirements that violate conscience. 4,700 messages doesn’t stack well against 669,847 voicing their opposition at the ballot box.

It is sad, because Governor Nixon has been very public about his opposition to ACA, esp the mandate:

Is it me? I note the Supreme Court when it voted on the Obama Care issue, it appeared that the fix was in when the conservative Judge switched sides…

Perhaps the Soros people, IMHO, are putting uh …extraneous pressure… on key political figures…?🤷
