And then they protest unjust shootings of innocent people by police, and they shoot police unjustly, themselves! They view it as “revenge”. Both actions are equally wrong. Two wrongs don’t make a right. That officer was just doing his job.

Me thinks it’s time for some Divine Intervention. We can’t seem to get a handle on this stuff. Nor, apparently, are we willing to do so.

I had my holy hour in adoration this morning and most of my prayer was for this.
 
The time is always right for Divine Intervention.

When the left sees that their losses far exceed any gains, the violence will stop.
What do you do with a child having a temper tantrum?
 
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

You seem to know more about this shooter than the authorities do. P,ease enlighten us – which “they” is he a member of?
 
I was referring to the riots in general. There have been other police officers shot during these riots. Several police officers have been injured or killed during the rioting in several large cities.
 
As long as guns are freely available, police will be shot at. Domestic disturbances are more violent because of the people promoting the arming of America. This lawlessness is at the root of much of the violence we hear about.

May the unfortunate death of this honorable man help lead us to a greater peace in our country.

Praying for the protection and safety of all law enforcement and emergency personnel

Our right to defend ourselves has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CRIMINAL ELEMENT IN OUR SOCIETY !!!

Banning the ownership of all guns ISN’T going to prevent criminals from getting them and using them on the rest of us. All that will do is make sitting ducks out of law abiding citizens who have a FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT to defend their lives, their families and their property.

I never meant to say it was. I was just responding to the comments about BLM etc. Those seem to have nothing to do with the incident.

The description of the suspect in a prominent St Louis newspaper certainly lends credence to a connection to gun rights:
Days ago, in east-central Florida, a bench warrant was issued in Brevard County when Kinworthy skipped a court date in the sexual battery and kidnapping case. Police say last year a masked Kinworthy bound a man and assaulted him. He also faces charges of being a felon with weapons. Earlier this year, while searching his SUV, police found the mask and also a bulletproof vest, two pistols, five rifles and thousands of rounds of ammunition, authorities said.

It’s not difficult to understand. The anti-gun crowd has been so brainwashed by the left to believe this will solve everything they just can’t take in anything else. They don’t get the left wants to take away the guns of Americans while making sure those who protect them are armed. If guns are banned and banning guns solves all gun problems, why do they need armed guards?
