Yep…excommunication always has the desired effect on these types of situations.

You simply won’t rest until you can be a bishop will you?

Where did that come from? I guess you don’t like the divinely inspired canon law 915 do you?

Can. 915 Those upon whom the penalty of excommunication or interdict has been imposed or declared, and others who obstinately persist in manifest grave sin, are not to be admitted to holy communion.

You can’t pick and choose what doctrines you don’t want to believe.

Many in these forums seem to do a good job of picking and choosing.

“Persist in manifest grave sin”…I’m amazed that you’ve come to the conclusion that these polticians are doing so…when theologians and bishops can’t quite figure that out.

Again…I’m not surprised.

I don’t see how they are not speaking the truth already. I’ve yet to hear a heterodox sermon from any priest or bishop I’ve ever encountered.
