Stealing from the poor

So I just witnessed a guy attempting to steal money from the poor box in my Church, and luckily Father caught him and corrected him but it got me thinking…

What kind of situation this guy is in that he would go so far as to try to break into a poor box in the Church. Either he is incredibly desperate or has very few morals but either way I figure he needs our prayers.

So for this guy and for those like him, whether they be so desperate or so far away from God, may God have mercy, may God heal them, may God help them.

Holy Mother intercede for your children, obtain for them the graces needed, and help us all so that we may praise, bless, adore and love You, the Angels, all the Saints and The Holy Trinity for all eternity. Amen.

They’re called “criminals.”
 
We ALL steal from the Poor and God in
some round-about ways, too, USMC_Convert.
When we buy something to satisfy our
fleshly desires and even sinful pleasures.
We MUST repent and confess these, and
make resolve to give alms and starve
SELF, esp. this Lenten Season!!

(I am as guilty as any of you in this, I
HAVE repented and confessed these
and the Lord has graciously REFUND-
ED a large amt. I spent foolishly, im-
plying that He forgives me!!)

I have a friend who asks me for cigarettes,
coffee and food ALL the time and recently
he has been accused(he claims falsely) of
stealing money. Please pray that Larry will
repent, have contrition and confess his
sins of stealing and get BACK into fellowship
w/ God and the Church!! He attends mass
on weekdays whenever he could but does
so to ask money from people.
