For may God judge him accordingly. For him and his family will be in our prayers.

Interesting, that statue looks like a pope or something.

Then there is Bart Simpson. Also in a wheel chair. Funny.

Yes, I wonder if a Pope gifted that statue to him after his stint working with the Vatican astronomy group to p(name removed by moderator)oint the big bang

Oh, I did not know that about him and the Vatican. Thanks for mentioning it.

In good news, maybe now the conspiracy theory that he died a long time ago and was replaced by some puppet can be put to rest.

unfortunately SH became a strident atheist

He worked with the Vatican on it. They were geo mapping space. Geothermal mapping

He met with a few Popes. The last being Pope Francis

You beat me to the post. We definitely have to pray for him because of his denial of God, and publicly so. Hopefully God gave him a special grace before he died so he could repent and he accepted it.

SH was a big hero of the atheists; i can’t pray for everybody

no hard feelings; SH (atheist) won’t be one of the ones i pray for…

I’m still curious to figure out that statue in the foreground. It almost looks like a cross on the chest, but it’s too blurry to discern. It could be a king. I don’t know. A jester on the throne of a king? Hmmmmm

Although an atheist hero he spent his life trapped as a prisoner in the very worst way inside his own body! I can’t even imagine what that is like. Then he had another disease added to an already faltering body? How absolutely terrifying. We should pray he has a shot at heaven to experience life through a regular body. Maybe he would become a great saint!

He has denied God here on earth. For may we pray that God judges accordingly.

It’s always praiseworthy to pray for a soul, I think. If that particular soul is not in purgatory and in hell, God will take those prayers we have offered and apply them to another soul. (That is what I have learned and I’m pretty sure it’s true.)
