Loving God,

We lift up in prayer the intentions of your child sojournersolo and ask for your mercy, blessings, and comforting Holy Spirit to be with him/her now. There are many very challenging things going on in the life of sojournersolo at this time, and we ask that your son Jesus may help sojournersolo maintain and grow in courage, faith, and hope in your divine providence, dear Lord. Please help our friend to find employment and remove the anxiety about financial affairs. Please also help to heal the wounds and suffering associated with the difficult relationship. Lord, we offer the following prayer of encouragement for sojournersolo this day:

PRAYER FOR COURAGE

Dear God, give me courage,
for perhaps I lack it more than anything else.

I need courage before men against their threats
and against their seductions.

I need courage to bear unkindness,
mockery, contradiction.

I need courage to fight against the devil,
against terrors and troubles, temptations,
attractions, darkness and false lights,
against tears, depression, and above all fear.

I need Your help, dear God.

Strengthen me with Your love and Your grace.

Console me with Your blessed Presence
and grant me the courage to persevere
until I am with You forever in heaven.

Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. .

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
