So it isn’t salacious to want to know that the president had an affair with a porn star/stripper. By the way he isn’t accused of paying her is he? If so we can add prostitute to the list.

Who said anything about letting him off the hook? It sounds to me like the old when there is a man around blame him mantra of modern society. He isn’t the one right now on TV telling salacious stories. He did, but it wasn’t right then anymore than this porn star/stripper(/prostitute?) is now.
 
One good reason would be to silence an untrustworthy liar. She lies so by paying her to say nothing you save the time and money of suing her for slander. Of course it didn’t end up working because she is an untrustworthy liar. She is being paid to keep something quiet. What we don’t know.

Well this did happen over a decade ago. We all knew he wasn’t then what he is selling now. So it’s absolutely irrelevant to his makeover, genuine or not. Hence it is just salacious.

So Trump’s salaciousness is bad but Stormy Daniel’s is good? I’ll go with both are bad instead.

On good reason would be to buy her silence so no scandals hit an election run.

Surely a consummate businessman like trump does not shell out thousands to silence every accusation thrown his way.

Whoever said he is a God fearing man?
I certainly don’t think he has marketed himself that way. I don’t know what his relationship with God is like. He has a few spiritual advisors and I think that is not uncommon. He does believe in God and that is what matters.

I am criticizing the media for using Holy Week to showcase this scandal.
It is not random that CBS chose the evening of Palm Sunday to air this interview. That is why I am posting here.
It is a strategic move by the left.

His wife read the Lord’s Prayer at a speech.
 
I had to leave the thread yesterday because I had business to take care of and was gone from 8:30 in the morning until 10 last night.

I still stand behind this interview airing on
Palm Sunday as a political strategy by the left. Pure and simple.

There is nothing random about the lineup of shows on any given network, particularly CBS, NBC, ABC, or FOX.
They spend a great deal of money researching their market, the target audience, and their competition to make sure they have a larger audience.
 
It is right out of the democrat playbook.
Just like the Russian dossier. It is obvious.

Very true. 60 minutes often follows a major sports event and thus captures more of an audience. That Duke game going into overtime didn’t hurt either.
