He plans to be home again tonight. He is scaring me. I am counselling with Project Rachel; the counselor gave me Holy Water and a special crucifix yesterday, but I am falling into depression now that I am confronting the reality of the matters involved. The three big anniversaries, I suddenly realized today, are coming up: I had the abortion on the last day of the first trimester, which fell the day before our first wedding anniversary, which falls the day before July 4th, already always difficult for me as a British-American, more so when also hosting a Canadian national as my spouse.

I trust that it is by special grace that I have Maggie (my counselor) at this particular time of year–I never see it coming–but I am falling into depression after the negative but preoccupying excitement of all the problems for my son, hearings, court dates, phone calls, et cetera.

I have an appointment with my psychological counselor tomorrow, and hope that he can help.

I feel like I am losing the fight against the house, as the yard is overgrown and I am afraid of yard men but one will be here tomorrow morning, mosquitoes in the house, infected bites, my husband finally fixed the leaking kitchen sink but the mosquioes or gnats are outside the front door also so it could be standing water in the overgrown yard.

For solace. This is a very confusing time.

May our Lord grant you peace, serenity, fortitude, strength, the deepest faith, surrender to his holy Will and abandonment to his Divine Providence. May Mother Mary comfort you and ease your sorrow. Amen.

I am very sorry for your grief. May your counselors be instruments of healing and peace for you. God bless you, Lynnehelen.

O Heart of Jesus,
I place all my trust in You,
hoping for all things from Your goodness.
You make a root flourish beneath the soil;
You can make fruitful the darkness in which I find myself today.
I adore You in all Your purposes even without knowing them;
Your will be done, not mine.
May I be patient!
It is so difficult to realize these trials,
heartbreaking as they are, can be turned into blessings.
Lord, give me peace of mind,
peace of heart,
and peace of soul,
as I offer You my thoughts,
my words, and my action,
and yes, Lord my sufferings.
May they all be for Your greater glory.

Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
