Student Killed by Security Police at Catholic College

Sign of the times. As there is much investigating yet to be done no conclusions may be made. Testing for alcohol and drugs will be done as this can change how a person responds to authority.

My prayers for all concerned with this incident.
 
It is a tragedy to be sure, and all the facts are not in yet, but what raised my hackles was that the headline made sure to mention it was a Catholic college. If hit had been, say, a historically black college no one would dare say that in the headline. But it seems OK to mention that it was a Catholic college.
 
Sorry, but the one newspaper I found the article in DID NOT mention the victim or the school’s religion. I thought the name sounded more like a southern Christian institution then a Catholic college.

I heard about this on the mainstream media and it didn’t mention that it was a Catholic college. I didn’t know that until I read it here.
