I don’t doubt that married couples who choose not have children are happier, in a vague sense; anyone who ignores their responsibilities in favor of playing around will be less stressed in a number of ways.

And it will always, always come back to bite them in the rear some day. Marriage is for the raising of children; you don’t need to be married to otherwise spend time together and run around doing whatever you’d like.

I’ve always been skeptical of these studies but there it is again.

I know they provided numbers and so forth, but for me and my wife, we’ve got two kids and and if we had to do it all over again, we’d definitely have children.
