And your inability to produce the statistics (not anecdotes) that show they are more dangerous than the diseases they prevent.
Explain to me why it makes sense to inoculate boys against a variety of cervical cancer?

Because boys can carry the virus, and it’s largely sexual intercourse that leads to infection. Beyond that HPV also has health effects on males, including cancer.

How does that show they have ‘acted with care’?
The outcome speaks for itself. Health has been improved, and the incidents of damaging outcomes is consistent with that. I’m sure if you had statistics of vast numbers of vaccinations gone wrong you would have posted them by now. But you haven’t because you can’t. The record of the US vaccination programs has been remarkable safe and effective in improving health.

Go ahead! Buy it! Not me! Its not going to help stop promiscuity, free-sex, prostitution, victimization, assaults, and the worst result of abortion. The mere idea of some invisible protection for having multiple sex partners is deceitful and harms a young girl’s discipline over her body. The drug itself may be beneficial for a grown woman that is having a responsible sex life but like many “good ideas” they turn out harming first - the medical motto is “First, do no harm”. A young girl must not be deliberately misguided because of immaturity or parental neglect. Ignorance is contagious.
When did common sense, conscience, self control with understanding become worthless? Does the vaccine cost money? What pharmaceutical firm has the patent? Its the money not caring about cervical cancer!

One more point - this is a virus caused cancer, probably in the Herpes category. Viruses have the ability to morph just ever so slightly and become resistant to whatever has been thought to prevent.

Has the latest news of Polio reached everyone? Its a slight morphed strain and is striking infants rapidly.
Viruses are not mild - they remain in the body and a little nudge later - its got you again!

Of course it won’t. It’s an HPV vaccine, not a promiscuity, free-sex, prostitution, victimization, assault, and abortion vaccine.

You are making a post hoc ergo propter hoc claim.

There are plenty of reports of vaccines causing problems. There are even victories in the special vaccine courts they created to protect vaccine makers. Whether you think the problems or the number of people effected by it is important is a personal opinion. You may think the number of people harmed is worth it, but that is just an opinion. That is true for both my opinion and your opinion.

I am fully in favor of vaccines in general; I’m a registered nurse and encourage everyone to get vaccinated.
I’m not concerned with the moral dimensions of the HPV vaccine, since as others have pointed out, teen girls are more aware of other dangers that are more immediate.

But I remember reading about a girl who became paralyzed after getting the shots, and it was very convincing. Also here’s an article that seems impressive: HPV Vaccine Is Associated with Serious Health Risks
Granted, you can find info online to support any weird theory. But there are too many questions about this vaccine for me.

If they amount to a significant number, then cite the statistic. I am not claiming that mistakes are never made. I am saying that they happen at a rate consistent with vaccine makers taking proper care.

I can agree that you have an opinion as well as I, but I think mine is better. 👩‍⚖️

What is a significant number? Who determines a significant number? Medical malpractice is the third leading cause of death in the US.

And how much of that is from vaccines. If you want to prove vaccines are a statistically significant health threat, then popping out the category “medical malpractice” doesn’t even come close to proving your case. This is precisely the problem with the whole antivaxxer sentiment, it’s an emotional appeal with no foundation in reality.

Your source is not consistent with all other information I’ve seen.

10 Things You Want To Know About Medical Malpractice
Fact: According to the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), medical negligence is the third leading cause of death in the U.S.—right behind heart disease and cancer.
You initially said “medical malpractice” which is a very specific subset of medical negligence. But that is no reason to get rid of medicine (like vaccines) as you seem to imply. It is a reason to make the practice of medicine safer. Focusing solely on vaccines, there is still overwhelming evidence that they should not be avoided.

How about putting it this way, health care professionals are the third leading cause of death. This fact is a reason to be wary of the medical establishment.

I’ve looked into the subject and found plenty of facts to support my position. My opinion has nothing to do with emotion. I’ve made several factual points. How could you possibly conclude then that mine is an emotional argument?
