Has that not always been the case Jimmy?

Hebrews 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world…

.
Romans 10:4 “But the Law has found its fulfilment in Christ so that all who have faith will be justified.”

Matthew 24:35 “Sky and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

There is no more “case” after Christ. No need for others especially muhammad and others 👍

What this thread shows is that a lot like to hand pick passages from the Koran, but are very unwilling to understand the context they are written in.

Which in turn really supports the fact People do indeed need to study the Koran. 😉

The Angel that revealed the Koran to Muhammad knew what he was doing.

**Muhammad…Kill Your Enemies

Jesus … Love Your Enemies

Nuff Said.**
That’s not really true now is it?

Jesus instructed Moses to kill all His enemies, and their wives and their children.

(Should I end this with the words “Nuff said” too?)

.

Surah 47:4 says:

Therefore, WHEN YOU MEET THE UNBELIEVERS, SMITE AT THEIR NECKS; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah’s Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.

Jesus…“Live by the sword, die by the sword”

But, there is no difference between the Bible and the Koran …🤷
Have you read the Old Testament? Even once??

🙂

The case for individual salvation was given by Christ. Of course, case closed.

The case for societal salvation which is a necessity for “on earth as it is in heaven” was commenced by Muhammad and found fulfilment in the coming of Baha’u’llah

One can easily say, “I don’t care, Jesus has assured ME MY salvation” which is fair (ish) but what about the salvation of ALL. Does one say “I don’t care”? Or “I will pray”? Or “I will pray AND do”?

The Baha’i revelation goes about the creation of a new civilisation, globally embracing, which will ensure the salvation of all, and indeed, the creation of “earth as it is in heaven”

🙂

And Jesus died with them, so he could come back from the dead, and now say " Love your Enemies" which Muhammad didn’t believe in.

Muhammad instructed his followers to kill their enemies generally, God instructed Moses and Joshua to kill their enemies locally within Israel or on the way to Israel generally for the purpose of completing his plan of establishing Israel and the Messiah through Israel.

There is a difference, though you ignore it. But I would recommend we keep the topic before this thread gets shut down.

No that’s not true again Techno!

Muhammad died and came back as Baha’u’llah so that He can state:

Prefer your brother over yourself”

🙂

Lol

Ok Ignatian. I won’t bother responding to this line of exploration you present…

Where in the New Testament does it say this?

If you think that’s how salvation is in the Catholic Church you have A LOT to learn yet.
The Baha’i revelation goes about the creation of a new civilisation, globally embracing, which will ensure the salvation of all, and indeed, the creation of “earth as it is in heaven”

.
So the baha’i faith is the only way for “the salvation of all”?

The more I read…the more heresy I see
We had a poster here a couple of years back whose religion, a sect of Islam, that believed Jesus was reincarnated, became another person, an Imam, and lived a quiet married life.

Now another religion here believes that Muhammad was reincarnated.

Forgive me, I don’t mean to make fun, but it nevertheless strikes me that these modern religions seem to like to use the reincarnation theme.
