I think there are a number of guys out there who are not going to cooperate with any type of out in the open, cooperative submission. Your best choice may be to let go of that idea completely and offer him respect and service on your own, with no words, no expectations. Make it invisible to him. Well, it can’t be invisible, really.
If you do something like greet him at the door, he will notice.
I mean invisible to him as a type of submission. He will be most comfortable if it seems like something you are doing naturally. Then he’ll just be happy to see you, and you happy to see him.
