I am a physician, currently employed by the US Navy, and deployed to a war zone. My job is to provide routine medical care, and trauma care (which is my specialty) to military persons of all nations deployed to Afghanistan.
My commitment to the US military is ending within a couple of months, and I am considering what to do next. I am most attracted to “doctors without borders”, at this time. Compensation is not an issue for me. I have enough money to take care of myself for life. I am not likely to be starting a family. So, I am free to devote myself to my medical practice without other concerns.
I am looking for suggestion from faithful people on where my skills might be most needed.
Thanks.
