If you’re going to argue that “suicide” should be defined so that responsibility rather than intention is what matters, then almost everyone is committing suicide. I have no doubt that every donut you eat reduces you life span by some margin. Every time you go out in the sunlight you’re bombarding your skin with radiation, so that weakens you in the long run. And let’s not forget the atmosphere! If you aren’t living out in the middle of the wilderness, you’re exposing yourself to pollution that will reduce your lifespan.
