So, let’s hear your favorites!
I really liked one of the first ones that was on, Live Mutual’s that used the song “I’ll Stand By You.”

We may or may not have gotten teary eyed over that one. 😉

I actually watch the Puppy Bowl and Kitten Bowl primarily. (When and if the Browns make the Super Bowl, I’ll watch, heck I might pay the ridiculous sums for a ticket to actually attend because it would be a once in a lifetime event.)

I am a huge fan of the “Subaru Dogs” ads that air every year during both of those.

Yeah, I understand how he feels. My daughter is in the Navy and she said she is not watching because the NFL wouldn’t run the AmVets ad. And I totally understand that too.

I’ll find out when I get home. I’m still at work. The Super Bowl usually does have the best commercials, though.

Yeah I usually just watch the bowl ads online.
I like the funny or clever ads, of which there have been many over the years.
I do not like the “inspirational” ones or the ones that try to connect to some current event very much.

I don’t mind the inspirational ones, but yes, the funny ones are what people watch for.

Forgot to mention the M&M ad with Danny DeVito. Oh my gosh, that was good too.

Though I’m not watching the SB, the big game promo for Solo: A Star Wars Story is online. Full trailer tomorrow.

I thought the Tide commercials were good, especially the very first one. Very different for a detergent, I thought.

My little sister is a pediatrician. The Hyundai ad was her favorite.

I didn’t like that one. It’s pretending that companies are moral or donate just to donate. They donate to write off taxes.

Honestly, if you wanted to help help people, then donate directly to a program that helps those people. Don’t buy a car to help random people.

But, yeah, better that than Planned Parenthood, at least.

It doesn’t matter to me if they write it off, the people they donated to still got the donation. And I don’t think they were saying “buy our car” as much as “look what buying our car allowed us to do.” That is why car owners were plucked out of the crowds and thanked by the people helped by the donations.

If they were going to spend money for an ad, at 5 million dollars per 30 second ad, it makes me wonder how much they care about vets.

I missed that one but it was my niece’s favorite. Of the ones I saw, the ones featuring Catholic nuns and people of other religions coming together, for instance the Jewish congregation providing worship space for Muslims or the other way around, were my favorites. But I haven’t found the ads as good overall for the past few years now as they once were.
