It does seem that way, sometimes. That’s one of the things that bothers me so much about the Health Care Plan. It was forced through on uni-partisan support alone. Back in 2008, I kept hearing about how Obama was going to be this big source for unity in America. If unity was a priority, it seems there would have been more of an effort to craft a bill that wasn’t so one-sided.

But what do I know; I’m not a President. 🤷
Likely it would of never of passed Congress if ObamaTax was established to be a tax.

And there are those who have posted that it will, even one who has posted that Romneycare is presently helping him.

I think everybody should just take a deep breath; like Judge Roberts illustrated yesterday, it is possible to be SURE what will or will not happen, only to have the future prove us completely wrong.

The one thing I am absolutely sure of at this moment, is that doing nothing isn’t going to make the problem of health care access and ballooning costs go away. Based on what I know, I am hopeful the ACA is the start of a definitive solution.
I for one do not share your optimism

Don’t trust politifact, OK I get that.

But we should trust Breitbart, lifesitenews, Daily Mail?

Somethings not quite right there.
I do not like the DailyMail for news, but Breitbart and LifeSiteNews provide accurate information, that otherwise may not be reported.

I do not watch Faux News and think it certainly has it’s bias. MSNBC is just as bad, if not worse then Faux News. I find MSNBC to be highly offensive.
I don’t really watch MSNBC but the few times I have seen some of the comentators I have found them to be offensive as well.

I cannot believe memories are that short. I speak of the acolytes applauded and lauded by Pelosi, Obama, and let’s not forget Fauxahontas Warren who claimed to inspire the Occupied Crowed.
Are you alleging that those public figures applauded the specific behavior you mention? Because I followed the progress of the Occupy Movement, and apart from one or two isolated incidents of misbehavior, what I saw were people legitimately protesting the status quo. Good for them - it means they’re alive, aware and active in shaping their world.

The Tea Party did the same thing.

And the opposition party’s (name removed by moderator)ut into the actual writing of the bill with be forthcoming?

🤷
Considering that the opposition party (or even when it was the party in power) has steadfastly avoided even the appearance of any attempt to comprehensively address the health care conundrum, I would say that the vote perfectly reflects their level of concern with the issue.

You work for Pravda? Few isolated incidents sure……. Bang the drum all you want but you cannot lie to me. I followed what happened in Oakland and Washington and New York et al. The riots, the rapes, the filth, several killings and pollution trash and inane stupidity. I suppose Attila the Hun had his well wishers also.

As do I, and this would go for the more liberal justices as well. It’s nice to see someone go “out of step” every once in a while. Restores my faith in the SCUTUS- which SHOULD stand apart from political grumblings.
SCUTUS??? Don’t you mean SCOTUS?

I suggest a cup of coffee - caffeine helps me when I’m grumpy.

There were Occupy protests in hundreds of cities worldwide; that there should have been incidents in several cities that grapple with the criminal element every day of the week, does not define the movement. Were rapists, killers and scammers expected to stay home or not take advantage of the cover provided by large numbers of people on the streets?
