Well yes as Sandra Fluke told us…it can cost them $3000 a year for birth control! They have to eat cat food in order to pay for it! Cats everywhere are starving!

Lisa
You nailed it Lisa!

That poor girl sacrificed her intellectual integrity for that dubious cause. What was she thinking? She simply MUST have a job sewed up somewhere or be getting paid for what she was doing to Georgetown.

(The following section is rated ewww do to subject matter and has more to do with practical realities than spiritual inspiration. The latter is much better, but when not preaching to the choir, pointing out that the Emperor really HAS no clothes … harsh though the reality may be … has IT’S place in fixing the problem. Which is good 🙂 )

Seriously Sandra (consider):

With humanity-saving condoms coming 10 to $1 at the 99 cent store - how many would that $3000 per year buy? 300,000 ! Divided by 365 days in the year - 822 per DAY  !

Divided by 18 waking hours in a day = 45 2/3 per hour! Divided by 60 minutes = 0.76 per minute!

I know we must not criticize condoms in our enlightened times … but that’s a lot of sex.
And at 3 men every 4 minutes … would it even be “good sex”? < not theologically … even hedonistically! Lol … even for the MEN!

Come to think of it, at the first condom failure (1 in 5 I’ve heard) of the first infected man using the “safe sex” - the CDC would have a regional outbreak on its hands.

Alright. I know. Condoms at 10 cents a pop is probably not the kind of artificial contraception Sandra had in mind. But she looks foolish even while posing as “ever so smart!”

Somewhere a nice Catholic girl with great grades got a rejection slip from Georgetown, but Sandra got in. Good call Hoyas!

The point was for Sandra to be the “front” for a political power group trying to force a Catholic University to go against its Church’s teachings. And winning rulings that would force the REST of Catholic institutions to have to do it too.

Sandra’s fame or infamy will be her ticket somewhere (a certain kind of employer or law firm might recruit her due to her reputation). And maybe she was securing her future with that play. Other firms might balk at hiring someone who’d harm her own Catholic University for being “too Catholic” or not feminist enough - because it wouldn’t indulge her breathtakingly frequent mortal sinning - financially, publicly and incessantly.

If Sandra has just ONE boyfriend … is his name Clark KENT? Or WHAT kind of elaborate
wondergizmo was Georgetown supposed to be providing Ms. Fluke at $3000 per year.

That $250 per month could lease a pretty nice car. Isn’t that even more of a health care necessity? <(Sorry - it’s a So. Californian thing). Of course the Catholic Church doesn’t teach car ownership is a sin. So no lawsuits there.

That was a fun math exercise. But you don’t even have to reduce it to the dollar store level. According to a consumer health cost site, birth control pills cost (without insurance) $20-50 per month. (at Walmart and Target its just $9) IUDs about $1700 for five year’s worth of “consequence free” sex. She could take the pill, get an IUD, AND uses all those condoms and still not hit $3K per year.

Even a tubal is less than $3000 and that’s a one-time expense!

I don’t know who should be more embarrassed, Sandra, the admissions committee at Georgetown or the dopey pol who put her up to it.

She was just a foot-soldier who was sent to embarrass the Church and Georgetown for being “too”-Catholic. Probably by someone at Georgetown, the same types who had Katherine Sebelius speak to a commencement event. If I may speak even more harshly, the Church has suffered for many years from the enemies within --the same sort who rebelled against Moses in the Desert and were swallowed up in the earth for their infidelity.

You know the sad thing is that I don’t think Georgetown is embarrassed by this silly woman. How many hardworking, deserving students got rejected by Georgetown so this foolish female could embarrass our sex by sounding so incompetent and ill informed. I thought “women’s liberation” was all about being self sufficient, standing on our own two feet and showing the world we can do anything? Apparently Sandra can’t even find a Walgreens where she could obtain very inexpensive birth control. I mean how dumb are you Sandra?

Women are our own worst enemies sometimes. Would that the first female Speaker of the House had been anyone but Nancy Pelosi…what an embarrassment. She of “we must pass the bill to find out what’s in it!” fame. UGH…

Ya know, one thing about all these dopey females…they are all Liberals. Yet the MSM tries to present Sarah Palin as lacking in brain power. Something tells me if she can track a moose in the Alaska wilderness she could find a Walgreens.

You can always blame liberals for Woman Suffrage too. Just saying.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Brilliant…and made my day!

Might want to recheck those facts. Woman’s Suffrage was championed by Republicans.😃
Dawnia facts DO NOT MATTER to the Left! 🤷 That the heroine of “women’s reproductive health” believed in getting rid of “human weeds” and eugenics seems to be lost in the mire of Leftist hype about “women’s health.”

Susan B Anthony vs Margaret Sanger? I know whom I would follow.

LIsa

Religious liberty is gravely threatened by current administration! Catholics need to wake up!
