I wish that were true, but thank you. During my career (first working for, then with and finally over lawyers), there were numerous times I envied the comparatively pressure-free, detail work of clerks.

As a Civil Servant you probably know the truth of the saying: “If you play with the elephants, you get stepped on.” The maxed-out top of the US Government pay grade where I stayed the last ten years often was not worth the brutal physical and mental stress which comes from constant confrontation with leaders in both international industry and government, especially William Shakespeare’s friends–the lawyers.
