In San Diego County, where I live and where the city of Encinitas is located, there is a great understanding of Our Lady of Guadalupe. When I read the story, I was hesitant but upon seeing the picture I thought it was done well. The artist wanted to draw attention to saving the life of the ocean ~ and as an observer who tries to follow God’s will, I thought it was appropriate since all life come from God - what better way to bring attention to God’s gifts than through Our Lady.

It was probably two difficult to make a glass mosaic of bare feet

hmmm - Not being an artist, I wonder if it would be any harder to do feet considering the nice job that they did on the hands.
