All of the report’s 94 points were approved with a two-third majority, but in some cases, such as readmitting remarried divorced people to the Sacraments, the qualified majority was close. The Church knows that it must follow the example of Jesus, who showed" the true meaning of mercy, which implies the restoration of the Alliance.”
