Wrong!

Tableeghi Jamaat was a movement started at the time that the subcontinent of south asia was partitioned.

The movement was started to islamicize the muslim polulation, so that they would be receptive to the idea of a muslim state (pakistan).

So whilst they do not necessarily have political ambitions, they were very much the instruments of political forces.

In fact in pakistan members of the jamaat have strong political ties as well.
**
However their main thrust is to islamicize subcontinent muslims.**
I’m sort of just rolling my eyes at you here. You’re stating the obvious, and backing me up. So apparently I’m not wrong at all since you agree.

I dont need that I have the source in my home.

Even though my wife is not desi (ethnically) she has lived in the sub-continent.

I can assure the jamaat has deep political ties.
Wanna have a whose-spouse-is-more-desi contest?

And I cannot let the fairy tale of mohammed and his few followers in Mecca go without showing that even in islam’s own texts
R_not, there was nothing wrong with Mohammed calling the meccans to worship one God.

In fact as a personal religion islam is a beautiful religion.

However unlike jewish prophets, Mohammed did not call people to islam peacefully.

And this is where I fear Mohammed was either
  1. Lying about his mission about being a prophet
  2. being misled by satan.
We are given free will by God.

However Mohammed sought to take away free will and impose islam on an individual, personally and socially.

No jewish prophet has ever imposed religion by force.

What???

Have you found yourself a desi spouse now?

Its definitely a step up from a saudi IMHO.

I’m sure hubby dear will agree.

BTW “hubby dear” is an anglicism that is unique to the sub continent.

Never had a Saudi spouse. He was an American Egyptian, living in Saudia.

I have no problem with that either. the problem with mohammed was his harassing others and then the twisting of the facts by the muslims, and those who believe the muslim’s erroneous version, is what is wrong.

The rest I agree with you totally.

The reason why I posted what I did was due to the fact that the same muslim posts the same thing without doing any research but just parrots the same thing that the muslims do - that mohammed was persecuted when he was not.

Their own texts tell the story and they persist on telling us fabrications.

egyptians are alot better than a Saudi.

You may not like me saying this, but there is something DESPERATELY wrong with that country.

More so than any other islamic country.

When you get there you realise how crazed everyone there is.

It can drive a person nuts.

Wrong!

The early muslim community was persecuted severely.

The reason why they did not attempt to fight back is more political than religious.

Any muslim scholar worth his salt will tell you as much.

They would have lost the war had they fought back at that time.

In fact the muslims avoided open conflict with the meccans until they were reasonably assured of victory.

this is a ploy that arafat attempted in the 80s - didnt work at that time - although one day in the future it might.

Political islam is a dangerous and violent movement.

It has the potential to wreak havoc on the world on a scale we cannot imagine.

the irony of it all, is that my Father in law, who is deeply deeply religious is also opposed to the “return of the khilafat”

I asked him his reasons once, but i dont think i got a good answer.

Something to the effect of it not being an article of faith for a muslim.

Having said that, the Tableeghi movement, which this thread is all about, I just confirmed tonight, made it a point to tell sub continent muslims in 1945-47, that they were religiously obligated to “emigrate” to a muslim governed land, causing untold misery for all the people living there.

they have been a source of dissension in the sub continent for years.

I won’t go into the Mecca part anymore - you can read islam’s own texts on that subject. There is no historical evidence for any of mohammed’s, or the muslims thereafter, claims.

They also have used the excuse of this supposed persecution as reasons to wage war against people for centuries. And so what if he was persecuted! Get over it. All those people are dead.

But, you are right about not only the Tableeghi movement, but other groups of muslims as well. They are using immigration and uncontrolled births as a form of jihad against us. There are many articles and books that are trying to tell us - Geert Wilders also is trying to tell us - and too often people are just ‘poo pooing’ it all thinking that it couldn’t be such an organized thing. Well, when one looks at ‘them’ vs ‘us’ (unbelievers vs believers) then yes, it certainly is organized. The umma - they are told to wage jihad and to work towards instilling sharia laws and either killing, converting, or subjugating us.

There is no difference between islam - political or religious - it is all one. We think there is a difference. We are the ones who foolishly put labels on ones who we think are ‘moderate’ or ‘peaceful’ because they don’t openly wage violent jihad. We are the ones who are fooled because they support jihad via muslim charities, da’wa, deception, and moral support to their jihadists - just as mohammed told them to do if they didn’t want to fight. It is also why the silence of the masses when atrocities happen, except to claim they are being victimized or worry about attacks upon them - which happens rarely.
Italian writer Oriana Fallaci, said: “A moderate Islam does not exist. It does not exist because there is no difference between Good Islam and Bad Islam. There is Islam and that it the end of it. Islam is the Koran, and nothing other than the Koran.“ (Oriana Fallaci”The Force of Reason” post-script page 305 February 2006)]
