It is my understanding that all of the TAC bishops (and their Archbishop) have agreed to step aside if Rome requests it or if their presence is a stumbling block to unity. If that is the case, then the TAC bishops will not likely be a problem. However, there are likely a number of TAC priests who were formerly Roman Catholic priests and at least some of those are now married… THAT is likely to cause heartburn at the Vatican.
I saw a report this weekend that a bishop in the Church of England (maybe have been the Bishop of Rochester, had an Arabic name) had gone to Rome to plead the TAC’s case for unity. That is absolutely all I know about this.
