Thought this might be something you all would be interested in…interesting idea…I guess the combo of “food stuffs” make a fertilized embryo unable to live in the womb…it’s from the Onion so it may be a farce…

Yes but note the date on the article. It says March 12, 1997. But the first emergency contraceptive Preven(estogren and progestin) wasn’t approved by the FDA until Sept. 1998. Remember also that it included a pregnancy test. Plan B’s (progestin) FDA approval came later.

It was available in Washington State over the counter in the pharmacies before it was approved by the FDA.

More like satire, to me. You did notice the part starting with this sentence?..
