SIA… I have a very serious question for you… If what you say is true, then why does not even the King James Version of the Bible agree with your statement? Why does it not conform to what you say the Greek translation would be? I’m being very serious in asking this.
Here is the King James Version as it relates to Mathew 16:13-19
**13When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. **

The problem is this: The Bible does not agree with what you are saying Christ said or did. So many people come up with all of the different “translations” and takes on the translations… But that does not explain why all the different versions of the Bible say the same thing…and the verbiage does not agree with the “Greek” translation or a take on the translation. Seems like if the Greek translation was accurate, the translation to English would correlate or match up.
If not here, please start another thread. I’m interested in your take on this.
