The best answer is:
Take your rosary everywhere!
Yes, I do take mine to church. The congregation prays it together out loud prior to Mass. If yours doesn’t (I’m guess not from your question) praying by yourself or with your family is certainly appropriate.
I’ve seen a few comments in various CAF threads where people seem to take some sort of offense at the suggestion of praying the rosary and respond that “it’s a voluntary devotion and not a requirement of the Church”
My response is that Our Lady, the Mother of God herself, has asked us to pray it every day. Who are we to tell her no?
For most of my life I prayed it infrequently at best, almost never really. Since starting to pray it daily with my family, amazing things have happened in all of our lives.
The world is a scary place. Genocide, abortion, contraception, and on and on and on. What can we do? How can we fight such evil?
PRAY THE ROSARY.
It was given to us as a weapon in the spiritual war we are all engaged in. It is a powerful one. A very powerful one.
God bless.
Pax.
