Roman Catholic Church (100%)

Eastern Orthodox Church (95%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (78%)

Hmmmmmmmm… lol

For Beliefnet:
  1. Eastern Orthodox (99%)
  2. Roman Catholic (99%)
  3. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (86%)
Not terribly shocking.

Oh, and I tried to answer the first one as I would have had before I started to consider Catholicism:

Mennonite Brethren (100%)

Methodist/Wesleyan Church (100%)

Orthodox Quakerism (98%)

I WAS A MENNONITE!! 😃 Hahaha… Methodist definitely makes more sense… Maybe the Quaker thing is part of being Pennsylvanian… 😉

Roman Catholic Church (100%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (95%)

Eastern Orthodox Church (93%)

👍

I came up

100% Eastern Orthodox, Evangelical Lutheran, Lutheran Church, Roman Catholic

91% Episcopal

Interesting, I actually had “infants can receive communion” as no preference at first and that made me 100% orthodox and 92% for Evangelical Lutheran, Lutheran Church, Roman Catholic and 84% Episcopal

Also, I would have thought that I would have scored higher as Episcopal vs Lutheran

About what I expected:
  1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
  2. Unity Church (88%)
  3. Liberal Quakerism (80%)
_____ And bringing up the rear______
  1. Mormonism (11%)
  2. Eastern Orthodox Church (3%)
  3. Roman Catholic Church (0%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (100%)

Eastern Orthodox Church (88%)

Roman Catholic Church (88%)

Huh…

I am Catholic btw.

Well, I notice, no questions about intercessory prayer and some other “Catholic” beliefs, so I would imagine whoever developed the survey really had no interest if fine tuning between the three you hit.

  1. Eastern Orthodox Church (100%) I know why this was listed first and that is because I said babies could have communion. It’s not against Roman Catholic beliefs, it’s just a tradition not practiced in the RCC.
  2. Roman Catholic Church (100%)
  3. Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (87%)

UPC United Penticost 100 %…Are you kidding?
Roman Catholic 88 %
Mormon 88% huh??
As I am awaiting RCIA there are some areas I am not rooted in yet so I answered no preferance.

Maybe that had something to do with the 88 % but seriously… UPC?

LOL - I think there is a bug in the program - 88% catholic AND 88% Mormon ???

This is probably why I got an 88 %, I don’t recall really making any choices that were against Vatican II Catholicism but hearing that question I thought “Well don’t you need to go through First Communion to actually start receiving it?”

Of course with the whole “Ignorant Innocence” I can understand why Eastern Orthodox would allow babies to take communion.

Huh, mine said Eastern Orthodox. Roman Catholic was number two. 🤷

Something that threw me off was that it asked whether I beilieved that Sunday was “the Sabbath,” i.e. the preffered day of worship. Uh… The Sabbath is Saturday, the Apostles’ custom was to break bread on Sunday, the first day of the week (Acts 20:7.)

Top Results:
1: Eastern Orthodox (100%) --HALE to the yeah! :extrahappy:
2: Evangelical Lutheran Church (93%)
3: Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (93%)

You really have to be able to decipher the Protestant language to be able to tell what the questions are truly asking.

But aside from that, I’m especially happy about being 100% in agreement with Orthodoxy–as my religion bar should indicate. 😉 I’m also guessing that “Evangelical Lutheran Church” doesn’t necessarily mean the ELCA, but means Lutheranism in general. Maybe more like WELS. Not sure why LC-MS is always listed as separate…

On the whole, not a bad quiz. Fun little distraction, but you gotta be able to understand Protestant speak for this one.

I am 100% Eastern Orthodox
Also 100% Lutheran
and in third place, also 100%, Roman Catholic

Wierd that I got 100% RC when there was one decisive question that would have distinguished one between EO and RC and I answered something against what RCs believe.

Roman Catholic (100%) :extrahappy:
Eastern Orthodox (92%)
Evangelical Lutheran Church (84%)
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (84%)

👍
