Usually, when you hear a Protestant refer to “water baptism” you’re talking to someone who is in favor of baptism by total immersion. To them, sprinkling or pouring are not Scriptural and therefore, invalid. Most folks I speak to who specifically call it “water baptism” are either Pentecostal, or Evangelical non-denominationals. Have some of those in my family. :o

Ooooh, thank you for clarifying!

Just for fun, here are my top four results.
Code:
		Unitarian Universalism (100%)

		Unity Church (91%)

		Liberal Quakerism (85%)

		Jehovah's Witness (28%)
After Jehovah’s Witnesses, the numbers went steadily downward.

Peace,

Take this Christian denomination selector to see (by your beliefs) what you would be if you weren’t a Catholic.

I wasn’t surprised for the first, only marginally for the second, and I am not sure at all about the third, but each was 100%…

100% Roman Catholic Church, 100% Eastern Orthodox Church, 100% Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod
  • Well at least I believe as I should for a Roman Catholic - according to that test.

1.) Roman Catholic Church (100%)
2.) Eastern Orthodox Church (97%)
3.) Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (97%)

This was my 2nd go at it. I’m really confused now

I am sure part of the results was due to the priority I placed on some of my selections.

Don’t forget to use the priority sliders on your answers.

I was RC, then Orthodox, then Lutheran Missouri, then Anglican, then downhill from there to Unitarianism 😛

I got:
  1. Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod 100%
  2. Roman Catholic 100%
  3. Evangelica Lutheran Church in America 94%
  4. Eastern Othordox 87%

Not really surprised 😛

  1. Rastafarian

Isn’t it also true that some use the term to separate “water baptism” from “Baptism of the Spirit”?
